Gulf Coast's Finest Marina Facility
You'll have to look long and hard to find a more accommodating, friendly, and professional team of staff members than you'll find at the Gulfport Municipal Marina.
FUEL DOCK HOURS 6:30a -- 9:30p DAILY
We are the ONLY marina fueling facility that is open for your service until 9:30pm every night. Featuring Certified ValvTect marine diesel and mid-grade 89 octane non-ethanol gasoline, ice, beverages, snacks, and outboard oil.
MOST MODERN FACILITY
The Gulfport Municipal Marina has been completely rebuilt after Hurricane Katrina and has now been in service since only July of 2011. Large slips, full-length finger piers, and rock solid in every regard.
Conveniently located at the most southern point of U.S. Highway 49, the Gulfport Municipal Marina is central to virtually everywhere on the Ms. Gulf Coast. New Orleans is just to our west, Mobile is just to our east, and the Barrier Islands are just off our coast.
With a revitalized downtown district, the City of Gulfport is host to many restaurants and shops, all within easy walking distance of the Municipal Marina. From brick-oven pizza to local-favorite seafood to upscale cuisine, we're sure you'll find exactly what you're looking for. And now Mississippi's own Aquarium is right across the street. Visit them at https://www.msaquarium.org.
Situated right on the Marina's northern periphery, Jones Park is one of the finest green spaces to be found anywhere in the State of Mississippi. With several concert pavilions and a dedicated amphitheater, there are a number of events that take place here every year including the Gulfport Fishing Rodeo and many live music festivals. And it's all sitting right here in our own backyard!!
The Gulfport Municipal Marina, also known as the Gulfport Small Craft Harbor or Bert Jones Yacht Basin, is the address for Mississippi's front yard and is located in the state's 2nd largest city. The marina and fuel dock is 100% owned, operated, and staffed by the City of Gulfport, Mississippi. The marina can accommodate vessels up to 140' and has 319 slips with berthing capability for vessels from 18' and up.
1ST CHOICE MARINA
Come on down to Mississippi's Golden Gulf Coast and give us the opportunity to show you why we have been chosen for five years running as a 1ST CHOICE MARINA by Active Captain. With all the comforts of home, including sparkling clean and air conditioned restrooms, hot showers, and a dedicated laundry facility, you'll be happy you stayed with us.
Whether you're planning long-term permanent dockage in our beautiful marina or just coming in for a short-term transient stay, our dedicated team of Marina Associates is always at the ready to welcome you into your slip. Many of our staff members have a significant background in boating and some have their own boats as well.
Each pier is equipped with slip-side pumpout service meaning you'll NEVER have to leave your slip when it comes time to empty your holding tank. Pumpout service is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. This is a do-it-yourself operation for tenants, but Marina Staff will be happy to show new users how it works during our normal hours of operation.
Each slip has a minimum electric service of two 30A, with many others offering a single 30A and a single 50A in the same pedestal. We also have numerous slips with two 50A receptacles at your service. Single phase 100A power is also available. At the Gulfport Municipal Marina, power will never be a problem.
